EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — VinSolutions, an automotive software provider, has integrated access to Carfax across its MotoSnap customer relations management platform.

This enhancement helps streamline the dealer’s used-car operations and provides convenience to his or her sales staff. Users can access their Carfax account to view and purchase Carfax Vehicle History Reports all within the VinSolutions’ application.

“VinSolutions and Carfax’s integration has allowed me to integrate my services in one easy to use Web interface, saving me time and money,” said Greg Jenson, chief operating officer of Ballweg Automotive Group.

Once a Carfax report is purchased, vehicle history highlights from Carfax are added to the dealer’s Website listing. Online shoppers see important information right on the vehicle details page such as ownership history and if any accidents were reported to Carfax. In addition, visitors can view the Carfax report for free with a single click of the mouse.

“Our dealerships find the Carfax integration not only a timesaver, but a differentiation for the Web-based customer,” said Sean Stapleton, executive vice president of VinSolutions.
