AutoUSA Adds Inventory-Based New-Car Leads to Edmunds.com Program

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – AutoUSA, a provider of Internet leads, now includes inventory-based new-car leads to its Edmunds.com Premium Dealer Program at no additional charge to dealers.

VIN-based leads from Edmunds.com are high conversion leads as the shopper is further down the funnel and ready to buy. Inventory leads include dealer's matching VIN and search criteria to help fast-track sales.

“AutoUSA was first to partner with Edmunds.com to offer the Premium Dealer Program and we continue to be a very strong supporter. We actively promote it to our dealer clients because of the results we've seen," said Phil DuPree, president of AutoUSA.

“According to Edmunds.com data, inventory causes consumers to be five times more interested in submitting a lead. As our mission is to connect our dealer partners with online customers who are ready to buy, we are delighted to now include these high conversion, high purchase intent, VIN-specific leads in the Edmunds.com Premier Dealer Program,” Dupree added.

The Edmunds.com Premier Dealer Program drives more in-market auto buyers to a dealer's Website through increased visibility and positioning on the Edmunds.com Website. Each Premier Dealer is presented in over 100 regionally targeted "lower funnel" ad units that generate a significant volume of consumer calls and clicks to that dealer's Website.

Premier Dealers are also guaranteed top placement – an implied endorsement – in Edmunds.com's popular Dealer Locator, producing high-quality purchase requests and positively positioning Premier Dealers in front of consumers when they are making critical dealership selections. Only one dealer for each make in each territory is permitted to participate, which gives that dealer exclusivity.

AutoUSA was the first Edmunds.com partner to offer the Premier Dealer Program, which was launched in 2006. AutoUSA's program participants have consistently reported increases in sales and closing ratios as a result of the additional Edmunds.com Web site exposure, and the portal's popularity as a trusted source for vehicle reports, research, articles and comparisons. VIN-based leads from Edmunds.com are the latest addition to the Premier Dealer Program and are designed to meet increasing consumer demand for specific online inventory.

"AutoUSA really understands how to help dealers realize the full benefits of the Premier Dealer Program," said Sean Peoples, executive director of business development for Edmunds.com. "AutoUSA’s insightful guidance will help make dealers even more successful with the addition of their new car inventory on Edmunds.com.”
