IRVING, Texas — Summit Consulting announced that Jamie Boettcher has joined its leadership team. The senior training specialist, who brings years of experience in the design, development and implementation of automotive training and certification programs, was added to strengthen the company's training and collision certification programs used by numerous OEMs.

"Ensuring our clients' technicians and support staff keep pace with industry advancements and have access to the latest and most relevant information is critical for servicing vehicles in a consistent and effective manner," said Randy Profeta, Summit Consulting’s national training director. "Jaime's extensive background working with vehicle manufacturers to achieve the highest service standards is a tremendous asset to our team and our customers. His insight from the frontlines will help technicians take repair service to the next level."

Summit Consulting develops and delivers both non-technical and technical training programs to automotive clients, including vehicle manufacturers such as BMW, Lexus and Toyota. The company has two decades experience leading collision repair programs that help shops and collision centers deliver a better customer experience, while also increasing operational productivity and creating opportunities for growth, officials said.

Boettcher spent 14 years with I-CAR, where he served as a technical writer, instructional designer and lead instructor for specialized OEM training courses that included modules covering the Nissan GT-R and Corvette Z06/ZR. He also worked directly with Ford engineers to develop repair processes for the 2015 Ford F-150 and design the training curriculum for the world markets. He also played an active role with the Jaguar & Land Rover Global Curriculum Steering Committee and was instrumental in certifying Audi structural and non-structural collision repair technicians.

“We are excited to include Jamie as a key member of our training team.  His exceptional experience working with many of our OEM partners will bring additional depth to our training and certification projects,” said Bob McDonald, president of Summit Consulting.
