DALLAS — Organizers of Compliance Summit say an “unprecedented” response to the announcement that the next event will be held alongside Industry Summit at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas, near Dallas, all but guarantees the Sept. 11, 2017, event will set new marks for attendance and Automotive Compliance Specialist certification.

“We knew we had momentum, and we knew our partnership with Automotive Compliance Education would draw a big crowd,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “But the response we have received from our announcement of the Dallas event is unprecedented, and expectations are high for September.”

Compliance Summit drew 165 dealers, dealership personnel, agents and industry executives to its most recent event in Las Vegas, also co-located with Industry Summit, last September. Of that group, 101 returned the next day for a four-hour review hosted by ACE’s executive director, Gil Van Over, with assistance from Mosaic Compliance Services’ president, attorney Jim Ganther, and ARMD Resource Group’s Michael Tuno. All 83 of the attendees who took the two-hour, 200-question exam earned a passing grade of 80% or better.

ACE certification will once again be available to registered Compliance Summit attendees for no additional charge. Those who attend the review session and pass the exam will earn a framed “Automotive Compliance Specialist” diploma and access to ACE’s online training resources.

More information about Compliance Summit, including a detailed agenda, will become available in the coming months. Stay tuned to the event’s website for updates.
