Dealer Pleads Guilty to Not Reporting Taxes

HARRISONBURG, Va. —The owner of Boris Auto Sales, Boris Caballero, pleaded guilty to not reporting his income from 2007 to 2010. The dealer owes $560,648 in taxes, reports.

Caballero faces three years in prison. He will be sentenced in September.

CFPB to Release White Paper on Proxy Methodology

During the CFPB’s semi-annual report to the House Financial Services Committee, Director Richard Cordray said the agency will be releasing a white paper on the methodology it uses to determine the presence of discrimination in auto loans.
