Commonwealth Honda Celebrates 20 Years

LAWRENCE, Mass. — Commonwealth Motors announced that its Honda dealership there is celebrating its 20-year anniversary. John Mendel, executive VP of North American Sales for Honda, recently visited Lawrence to congratulate and commend Charlie Daher, the owner, on reaching the milestone.

"We have been through a lot in the 20 years we have been in business, and we are privileged that, through both the good and some not-so-good times, our customers have been loyal to us,” Dahler said. “We would like to say 'thank you' to everyone and let them know we appreciate their patronage and that we look forward to another 20 years."

Since opening its doors in 1991, Commonwealth Honda has grown to become one of the largest Honda dealerships in New England, currently employing more than 75 people. Company officials said the dealership is commemorating the anniversary with special savings and events.
