Market Scan Information Systems, a provider of software for automobile dealers to access lease and loan information, announced May 1 that it has formed an alliance with First American CREDCO, a member of The First American Corporation family of companies, to provide automated credit reporting capabilities to the automotive industry.

First American CREDCO’s Instant Merge credit reporting service will be incorporated into Market Scan Information Systems.

The Instant Merge service generates, merges and delivers complete, up-to-date credit reports with data from the three national credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian and Trans Union) within seconds, according to Russell West, founder and president of Market Scan Information Systems.

“With the addition of credit-reporting capabilities, Market Scan’s many automotive customers across the United States will have access to the most comprehensive, integrated software programs available, allowing them to manage virtually all aspects of their operations from accounting and inventory functions to generating proposals and completing sales,” West said. “By creating this alliance with First American CREDCO, we can continue to provide advanced technology solutions to our customers, giving them the tools they need to facilitate automobile sales.”
