DealerTrack, Inc. on March 4 announced that it has entered into an agreement with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC), the captive automotive financial services arm for Nissan North America, Inc., to provide online credit application submission and e-contracting capabilities through its Web-based DealerTrack(TM) auto finance platform.

All Nissan and Infiniti dealers will be able to use the DealerTrack platform to submit credit applications directly to NMAC, monitor related application status changes and, in the future, process contracts electronically.

"Eighty percent of Nissan dealerships and 94 percent of Infiniti dealerships nationwide are already active on the DealerTrack platform," said Tom Lyons, senior manager of Corporate Planning Office, NMAC. "Given the scope of our dealerships' participation, we felt this was another key initiative to assist NMAC with improving our level of service to our dealers."

"We are pleased that NMAC has selected DealerTrack as its partner in accelerating the auto financing process," said Mark O'Neil, president and chief executive officer, DealerTrack. "NMAC dealerships have already been very active users of DealerTrack -- in fact, it was an Infiniti dealer that completed the very first e-Contract through our platform. We're confident that DealerTrack will continue to make a positive impact on the business of both NMAC and its dealer network."

DealerTrack is an online finance platform, now processing more than 1 million applications per month.
