The College of Automotive Management has appointed Keith Tuber as vice president of corporate communications, effective immediately. Mr. Tuber rejoins the automotive F&I school after several months of free-lance writing for other industry leaders. He will report directly to Eric Andersen, CAM president and CEO.

“Our goal is to provide the most current training curricula focused on best processes management, customer satisfaction and legal compliance procedures aimed at maximizing profits through repeat and referral business for dealers and lenders,” Mr. Andersen said. “To facilitate this effort, CAM is organizing leaders in the industry who have the same passion and vision. We look forward to the experience and knowledge Mr. Tuber brings to the CAM team as we constantly strive to improve the quality of our service to our clients. Mr. Tuber is an important part of a new CAM expansion plan being implemented to help provide more access to CAM training through multiple training facilities. With Mr. Tuber’s corporate communication talent and expertise, CAM will begin to aggressively deliver the message that CAM training is accessible, affordable and, most importantly, effective at providing best processes and practice training for F&I, Sales Desk management and Internet management.”

Known as “The Nation’s Leading F&I School,” the College of Automotive Management, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, offers courses designed for seasoned professionals as well as those interested in entering the automotive or lending industry for a long-term career. Graduates of CAM programs can earn up to 28 Educational Credit Units transferable to Northwood University, one of the nation’s most prestigious private business universities, toward any of its two- and four-year degree programs in as little as six weeks. CAM has recruited, trained and helped place more than 1,000 graduates with more than 350 employers in the Southern California market at no charge to the employers who hire them. These employers include auto dealers, RV dealers, motorcycle dealers, finance companies, credit unions and F&I product/service companies.

“I am thrilled to be rejoining CAM at this exciting juncture in its history,” said Mr. Tuber. “CAM wrote the book on automotive finance management. Expanding its course offerings and establishing new locations will improve the education base of automotive managers, instructing them on proper legal compliance and other quality procedures. This, in turn, will have a positive effect on the automotive industry as a whole, as a better-trained workforce will result in improved customer satisfaction. This is a career position I feel good about every day I go home.”
