20 Major U.S. Cities Ranked by Credit Score

IRVINE, Calif.--The average consumer credit score in the United States is 678, according to Experian Consumer Direct's National Score Index. The company ranked the average scores for 20 major metropolitan areas in the United States.

Following are the scores:
