JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Life of the South announced it will participate in the introduction of DealerTrack’s Web-based electronic Aftermarket Network.

"DealerTrack has proven its value to dealers through its credit application technology solution," said David Menges, assistant vice president, Automotive Division, Life of the South. "This new network is the industry’s first Web-based network and offers the next level of technology integration, bringing new efficiencies and accuracies to the dealer and the consumer."

Dealers and their F&I personnel will benefit from having they key aftermarket products accurately priced, forms electronically completed with accurate information and printed on the dealer’s laser printer. End-of-month remittance will be tabulated and completed electronically to prevent errors and delays.

Initially, Life of the South will offer credit life and disability, extended service contracts and GAP. However, Menges said, the technology allows for the transition to offer the full line of Life of the South’s GREENTREE products, which include extended service agreement refund program, tire & wheel with roadside assistance, etch theft deterrent, F&I training and more.
