AUSTIN, Texas -- IAS announces the release of new SmartMenu software that has been upgraded to add one-click electronic service contract rating in partnership with several major VSC providers, including CNA National Warranty Corporation, Protective and other large service contract administrators.

With this release of SmartMenu, dealers can rate the service contract automatically. After extracting vehicle information from the DMS, including VIN and mileage, SmartMenu transmits the data to the VSC provider, who responds with a listing of plans for the vehicle being sold. The listing includes the plan name, dealer cost, retail price, term in months, term in miles, deductible and program options.

The user selects which plans to include in various menu packages and the output menu is updated automatically with the appropriate retail price. SmartMenu can also sort the results by price to determine which plans fit customer needs and budget. In addition, dealers can choose, on a per-provider basis, whether or not to mark up the VSC product by percentage or dollar amount, and by how much.

The SmartDealerProducts suite of software, which also includes SmartTrac multimedia presentation software, SmartEye digital video recording software, and SmartInsight F&I reporting software, is available at no cost to dealers selling one or more IAS warranty products.
