DealerTrack Adds Advanced Online Credit Application Tools to Dealers' Websites

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., -- DealerTrack Inc. announced several enhancements to its WebsitePlus solution, which helps dealers to securely and efficiently manage credit application data submitted through their websites by consumers. The upgrades include customized privacy notice, Spanish-language credit application, and leads tracking.

The customized privacy notice allows dealers to upload a customized privacy notice to their website credit application, which consumers must read and accept before submitting the credit application. This helps to protect the interests of both dealers and consumers.

The Spanish-language credit application allows dealers to offer their credit application in Spanish. Dealers will be able to broaden their potential customer base by removing a barrier to conducting business with the rapidly growing Spanish speaking population.

Leads tracking allows dealers to add custom tags to their online marketing campaigns, enabling them to track how consumers arrived at their website. Leads tracking provides valuable insight to help them manage their online marketing efforts in a more efficient and cost-effective manner.

The encryption of data means that consumers may be more willing to submit credit applications online, generating more qualified leads for the dealership. WebsitePlus also eliminates duplicate data entry and automates communications with credit bureaus through its integration with the DealerTrack credit application system.
