Dealix and AOL to Partner on New Car Lead Business

April 21, 2009

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — AOL and Dealix Corporation, a division of Cobalt and a leads provider for dealers and manufacturers, announced Monday that Dealix will power the price quote feature on AOL Autos.

AOL Autos receives more than 5.6 million unique visitors each month, according to March 2009 comScore Media Metrix data.

Car shoppers on AOL Autos can research and compare vehicles, read expert reviews, and get information on vehicle incentives. Once they decide on a vehicle, Dealix’s Enhanced Lead Platform 2009 presents consumers with a choice of dealers on AOL Autos, and then quickly delivers consumers’ requests for more information. This enables dealers to launch a fast response to consumers’ inquiries and deliver a better overall car buying experience.

“AOL Autos’ expertise in delivering a great online shopping experience for millions of car buyers, coupled with Dealix’s leading technology and strong relationship with dealers, creates a great experience for the buyer and boosts sales for auto dealers,” said Ed Crawford, vice president of strategic planning and business development for Dealix. “Our research and firsthand experience show that when you present qualified, local dealers to car buyers and facilitate a seamless and quick connection between the two, the overall experience is better for the car buyer and helps the dealer to better match the consumer to their ideal car.”

“Providing a superior car buying experience for visitors to AOL Autos is of paramount importance to us,” said Rudi Thun, general manager, AOL Autos. “We feel that Dealix has both a large network of participating dealers who will respond to our audience’s inquiries and the technology to deliver a fast, efficient process. We look forward to a very successful collaboration with Dealix.”
