Reynolds Introduces Mobile Version of Its CRM Solution

June 02, 2011

DAYTON, Ohio – The Reynolds and Reynolds Company announced the launch of dealerPad for the Apple iPad. The new application is a mobile version of the Reynolds Contact Management (RCM) solution and will be offered at no additional charge to Contact Management customers.

The dealerPad app allows dealers to access important functions of Contact Management from anywhere at any time, with features ranging from creating and updating customer records to searching the dealer’s vehicle inventory.

“dealerPAD provides dealership personnel immediate access to customer and dealership information, without being confined to a desktop PC at the dealership,” said Jon Strawsburg, vice president of Product Planning at Reynolds and Reynolds. “With this information at their fingertips, dealers are able to respond more quickly and accurately to customer requests, which can lead to increased customer satisfaction, lead conversion, and sales revenue for the dealership.”

Contact Management for the ERA dealership management system is a customer relationship management (CRM) tool for car dealerships and works to enable dealers to more effectively reach, attract, and retain sales and service customers.

“We’ve designed dealerPAD to be a ‘game changer’ in helping dealers improve their sales processes and improve customer relationships, inside and outside of the four walls of the dealership,” Strawsburg said. “Ultimately, our products are measured by the results they deliver for dealers.”

Reynolds IPAD App is not complete and is very lacking.Employees who receive service leads that are timed CANNOT STOP THE CLOCK so everytime a Lead is forwarded to our EMails we have to stop and scurry find a hotspot or someone close with a computer to log on to Contact Management and stop the clock. Its very Archaic!!! Reynolds is supposed to be #1 in CRM and they dont have a Working Smartphone App that can do this!!!
