COLUMBIA, Md. — Lexus announced that its 2013 GS 350 will offer HD Radio Technology with the iTunes Tagging feature. The vehicle, along with HD Radio Technology, made its debut during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event and is the first model in the Lexus family to feature the technology.

Aside from Lexus, HD Radio Technology will be available as a factory-installed feature from 19 automotive brands. Earlier this year, Toyota announced that it would begin rolling out HD Radio Technology in 2011. Scion also announced that it would begin offering the technology as a standard feature starting in 2012.

There are currently more than 2,000 AM and FM stations broadcasting the HD Radio signal. Additionally, there are more than 1,300 additional digital-only FM HD2/HD3/HD4 multicast channels offering new programming, according to HD Radio Technology.
