IRVINE, Calif. — Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced the launch of the "MyMazda" service app for Android-compatible devices. The consumer-facing app is available for download at the Google Play Store, formerly known as the Android Market.

"MyMazda,” already available on the Apple iTunes store, provides customers with access to service offers personalized to their vehicle, allows them to receive scheduled maintenance reminders and more.

The "MyMazda" app also features the ability to scan vehicle identification numbers (VINs) when adding new vehicles to the application, update contact information and upload personal vehicle photos for each vehicle registered. App users also can utilize the vehicle locator tool and add photos as visual cues.

The "MyMazda" app also is linked with the “Mazda Assist” app, which puts drivers directly in touch with a roadside assistance agent who can dispatch roadside assistance to the vehicle's exact location via GPS-enabled technology.

The “Mazda Assist” app is free to download and is available on both iTunes and the Google Play Store.
