Tortarolo Earns Privacy Professional Certification

HANOVER, Md. — Hudson Cook LLC has announced that the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)has certified Alicia Tortarolo, managing partner at the firm’s California office, as a Privacy Professional.

IAPP, the world’s largest association of privacy professionals, represents over 5,000 members from businesses, governments and academia across 32 countries and has certified approximately 2,300 professionals. Certification as a Privacy Professional includes passing an examination that focuses on knowledge of concepts and applications of United States and international privacy laws, information management practices and the privacy implications of emerging technologies. Alicia’s legal practice has focused in the privacy area for the past nine years.
