Warranty Group Names New Managing Director for London General

CHICAGO — The Warranty Group Inc. has appointed Roger Humber as divisional managing director and creditor for London General Insurance, a unit of The Warranty Group.

Humber was recently the group director at Sterling Insurance. He also headed up the successful joint ventures with Commercial Union, Legal & General and Zurich for 15 years while at Cardif Pinnacle.

"Roger's appointment is further evidence of the groups intention to grow its market share in the important protection market. We are delighted to add Roger's talent to our management team," said Roger Powell, CEO of The Warranty Group Europe and managing director of London General Insurance and London General Life.

The Warranty Group specializes in underwriting, administration and marketing of warranty and service contracts for the automotive, real estate, consumer electronics and appliances industries.
