Black Book Launches Used Car Web Services

October 15, 2008

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Used-vehicle pricing provider Black Book has announced the launch of Black Book Used Car Web Services. The new, online platform was designed to allow data customers to receive current vehicle information in real time over a secure Internet connection.

Users will have access to both U.S. and Canadian valuations, as well as vehicle photos, standard equipment, color swatches and a number of other types of vehicle-specific information. The innovation couldn't have come at a better time for dealers, according to Tom Cross, Black Book's president.

"Our innovative Used Car Web Services platform makes it even easier for our U.S. and Canadian customers to incorporate Black Book data as a core component of their internal systems, as well as within products and services supplied by third party software providers," Cross said. "In this tough environment, we’re doing everything we can to help our customers save time and money by taking the complication out of using our timely, independent and accurate information."
