SARASOTA, Fla. – Leedom and Associates LLC will host its fourth annual Buy Here-Pay Here Credit and Collections Conference on May 27-28, 2008, in Dallas.

Chuck Bonanno, conference chairman, said this year's areas of focus will include underwriting successful buy-here, pay-here contracts; create a superior collections team that meets or exceeds industry benchmarks; maximize profitability; maintain good relations with customers; and avoid delinquencies and charge-offs.

As a Leedom and Associates Twenty Group Moderator, Bonanno has more buy-here, pay-here clients than any other consultant in the country. He is a nationally recognized Twenty Group moderator, author, industry trainer and consultant, and was a top executive with one of the largest publicly traded buy-here, pay-here companies in the U.S.

"The goal of this program is to provide a forum where industry professionals can meet, exchange ideas and learn from the very best industry experts," Bonanno said. "The positive response and participation from previous events far exceeded our expectations. This is the kind of event that provides underwriting and collections teams with the right tools and energizes them to return to their stores to increase profits. In today's volatile and uncertain economy, quality underwriting and superior collections are critical to loan success and, therefore, business success."

This conference will provide a tremendous amount of information including: buy here-pay here benchmarks; tools for achieving benchmark operations; underwriting for success; collection technology; portfolio management; and analysis education.

Bonanno said a dealership's entire underwriting team would benefit from instruction on successful underwriting, credit information verification, loan closings, scoring and technology. In addition, collection secrets and networking sessions with some of the best automotive finance operators and industry experts available will make this, once again, a must-attend event.

"Chuck constantly amazes our team with his insight into this competitive marketplace and his ability to educate dealers on the basics and more complicated nuances of this market segment," said Chris Leedom, president of the Leedom Group. "His approach to underwriting and collections has resulted in more than $100 million in improved profits for his clients over the past 15 years.

Those who want to attend should sign up early, as space will be limited. Conference attendees who sign up prior to April 15 will save $100. Cost for the event is $895, but those who register early only pay $795. Multiple attendee discounts are available, as are discounts for Leedom and Associates Twenty Group members. Included with the training and expert advice is an open-bar cocktail reception, continental breakfast on both days and lunch on the first day.
