CARLAW Takes Silver in Axiom Book Awards

February 24, 2009

HANOVER, Md. — Legal compliance services provider Hudson Cook LLP has announced that the CARLAW F&I Legal Desk Book won the silver medal in the 2009 Axiom Business Books Awards competition.

The Jenkins Group Inc., which sponsors the annual awards, stated that “The Axiom Business Book Awards are intended to bring increased recognition to exemplary business books and their creators.” CARLAW, a reference for legal issues pertaining to automobile sales, financing and leasing, was authored by Hudco partner and Special Finance columnist Thomas B. Hudson Esq., who characterized the achievement as the result of a team effort.

“The award recognizes the breadth of auto financing experience that Hudson Cook LLP lawyers have accumulated," Hudson said. "The book would not have been recognized without the contributions of many of the firm’s lawyers."
