WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. – Dealership solutions provider AutoSoft International has announced that Chrysler dealers using Traffic COP can use the CRM to import their OEM's list of owners "orphaned" by dealerships whose franchise agreements were discontinued last month. The list is due to be released via Chrysler's Dealer Connect Marketing Planner on June 9.

The records will identify customers, their vehicles and their original servicing dealerships. AutoSoft plans to offer the same option to remaining General Motors dealers when that manufacturer's list becomes available.

Dealer and Traffic COP user Brendan Hurley of Hurley Chrysler-Jeep in Deland, Fla., is one of five remaining Chrysler dealers in his general area. Hurley will have more than 36,000 Chrysler customer records (units in operation) to import from disaffected dealerships in his area, according to AutoSoft.

"Without a CRM like Traffic COP to manage these customers, there is no way we or any other dealer could properly pursue and follow up with so many potential new customers," Hurley said. "The ease at which we’re able to access these records means we can start gaining these orphaned customers’ business right away."
