PHOENIX — The User Friendly Dealer marketing program selected Team One Group to develop customized F&I and sales training solutions to implement the goals of the program.

The User Friendly Dealer is a dealer marketing and advertising program that provides automobile dealers with a franchise-like approach to maximizing sales despite a growing number of increasingly skeptical consumers. The program uses TV ads that “likely to buy” consumers found to be appealing and likely to entice them to visit the dealership. The program will soon become available to dealers nationwide.

Research showed that a critical part of the program’s success would be training the dealership staff to implement the program’s philosophy. The management of User Friendly chose Team One Group to develop custom training programs to help achieve the goals of the marketing program.

User Friendly spokesman Glen Tuscan said, “We researched the training providers in the industry and Team One was an easy choice. Since the early 1990s when they developed the menu approach for F&I, they have been the clear leader in process development, effective training programs and customer satisfaction. Their customer-centered philosophy and ability to create change in the dealership made them a perfect fit.”

Team One spokesman George Angus said, “We are fortunate to be involved with the User Friendly program. As a research company we look at results. The market research we have seen for this new approach is impressive. The User Friendly ads and marketing program tested higher than anything we have seen in the new economy. The benefits to the dealer should be a real life saver, given the current lack of consumer confidence in traditional franchises and dealer advertising.”
