ATLANTA Safe-Guard Products International LLC is expanding into the Mexican and Brazilian markets, and growing its sales team.

Safe-Guard also announced that Marcos Luna Rivera has joined the company as national director, Mexico. As a new country director, he is tasked with both managing operations locally and creating additional expansion opportunities in the Mexican marketplace.

Luna Rivera has experience in both the financial service and insurance brokerage areas, most recently as chief financial officer for GMAC-Mexico.

“Marcos’ experience leading a large automobile finance company as CFO will help us continue to grow our business in numerous directions by leveraging his extensive relationships within our industry,” Orlando Zayas, Safe-Guard’s president, said.

In addition, Safe-Guard is expanding its sales leadership team. Jeffrey M. DeYoung has been named national sales leader, financial services. Safe-Guard is looking to build on its many strong partnerships with financial institutions with the addition of DeYoung.

“With his experience in banking, financial services and automobile F&I sales, Jeff is in a position to make an immediate impact on our partnerships with financial institutions,” Dave Duncan, Safe-Guard’s senior vice president, said.
