Posted - 11/07/2011 : 07:04:32 As I recall there were some serious differences of opinion regarding NFL teams back when I was regularly posting on this forum. In my recent perusals I have seen none of that! Well, being the pot stirrer I am I think it's time to set the record straight. The G-MEN are the best team in the league and Eli is THE premier QB in the NFL!!!!!!!

Mama said there'd be days like this, she just didn't tell me they'd all come in a row!!! |

So, by your standards, Eli is better than Dan Marino.
Yes. The only thing that really matters is trophies. Everything else was just the stuff trying to get there.

So Doug Williams and Jim Plunket were better qb's than Marino as well. Are you high? |

Posted - 03/08/2012 : 12:17:37 ^He's got something to prove now, kinda like Brett Farve, I hope his neck is better and doesn't screw with him anymore so he can give a big silent FU finger to the owner of the colts when he takes the next team he's with to the super bowl.

Posted - 03/08/2012 : 11:43:21 Surely, Manning, 35, knows the endgame of those next steps: find a new team.
"I don't want to retire," he said emphatically. "I don't feel like I have anything to prove. But nobody loves their job more than I do. I still want to play."
In a passing league starved for polished quarterbacks, speculation about landing spots —Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers among them — has persisted for weeks.
"Whoever gets him will be in the Super Bowl within three years," says ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer, a former Super Bowl-winning quarterback. "You go from good to great the first time he walks into the complex, because there's suddenly heightened awareness that the most demanding player in the NFL is playing for your team."
Would the analyst's same the same about Eli? ? |

You really think everything Rodgers has accomplished he could have done with a team like, let's say, the Rams, or the Browns or the Bucs??? It's YOU who must be smoking something. If your BACKUP can come in and throw 6 td passes in his only start of the year then your life as an Starting NFL QB is REAL easy!!!! And I stand by my statement that Rodgers isn't as good as you might want to believe. He's good but not that good.
