My main Hobby is Disc golf..here's a link. Go to course directory type in your city and state you might be supprised to find out you have a local disc golf course near by...plus theres a hot chick on the website home page that just won worlds..check it out..If you click on some of the links and lurk around a bit you will find some videos, that will show you exactly what its about,,Just like normal golf but your using disks, and metal baskets..

My clubs called the Nacogdoches Crushes theres currently around 50 players, 5 women players..Im the treasurer "phft" go figure.. I'm also the only club pro, Open division, being in the car biz doesn't give me time to hit the big tournys, but I play as much as I can and have won some big time "cash" from, out of towners coming to play our weekly mini tournys,I sort of treat them the same way I approach my customers at work, non suspecting victims. .,theres many many divisions,,from amature to advanced or amature grand masters...50 years old ++we have 5 grand masters in all, one of the grandmasters, Lynn Lightfoot made it to Amature worlds this year in noman Ok, it took him 2 years of touring and playing in pdga events to quilify,, He played horrible but came back with some great stories. And a big fat smile on his face

My latest hobby includes hanging out with my wife a lot more then playing disc golf, Yup, I'm trying to knock her upalso reading vince Flynns Mitch Rap series, his books are awesome!!!

^yeah it was huge, most guys can not even throw that far, so it was big time, a ton of players just wanted to shake my hand and congratulate me, I thought that was pretty cool. That was the longest straight line ace I've ever hit, the hole was tight and down hill with trees on both sides, I can not recall anyone ever hitting it before and I've played that course since it was baskets replaced polls almost 12 years ago. Most of my ace's come in from the right side and they have been on open baskets in large fields with no trees, we call them hyzer ace's, because the disc is coming in from right to left, either skipping in or going straight in the basket from the air. My longest ace was 410 off a skip.

This last weekend our club had our 10th annual pecan park open, I smashed down an ace on hole 17 during the 2nd round, my card started on hole 7, the ace put me at 3 down, usually after I hit an ace durning a tourney I fall completely apart, not after this one, I racked up 4 more birdies after the ace and finished at 5 down total for the day, thats from both rounds, my first round sucked. Now yesterday was a different story, I fell apart, I couldn't drive for sh**, my puts where all high, so I said F*** it about half way through the first round and decided to try running for aces, I ended up almost acing number 17 again, my disc popped the top right side of the basket, I ended up hitting 7 baskets for the day, winning 1 dollar from every guy on my card per basket hit, the ace pot was 305, so I walked away from the tourney with around 350 cash, and huge buzz from all the beer I drank after the tourney.

FU**** my right ankle up playing disc golf Saturday night, rolled it off the end of the T pad. Nice drunk gracefull stiff arm landing with my right arm, feels like I wrenched my elbow. The guys came over yesterday and pushed me to go out and try to play just to shake off the stiffness. Yeah right, that lasted about 2 minutes at the warm up basket
Limp to basket, first toss youch, mother F***** what the hell is wrong with my elbow......... No extension equals no throw discs

Played like crap in the tourny on Saturday, yesterday morning I played way better but not near what I needed to bring me within enough strokes to place. After the first round my buddy shaun wanted to head back to the apartment to take shots, so I said Otay. When we got back for the second round shaun said screw trying to have a low score let's run for the ace pot it was 645 bucks.
So here it is folks, I hit an ace on hole 4, 290 foot skip ace, signed by the three guys on my card. I found out when I went to collect my money that two other guys had hit aces in the same round, so it was only 215 paid out to three guys, but O well., hey it was still an ace and some cash in fist. Other than the ace I played like total shiat this weekend. lol
