Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA: Most worthy! My new favorite. Bitter, malty, smoooth, and STRONG, 9% ABV.

Stone Ruination IPA: Bitter, oily hops, nice woody taste. Excellent, but I prefer the DFH90.

Oaked Arrogant Bastard: Now available in 12oz bottles, thank goodness. The aging gives AB a real nice complexity, with smoky over and undertones. Nice.

On the list, waiting:

Rogue Brutal Bitter (22oz)
Rogue Chocolate Stout (22oz)

I have to wait for some time when I feel like getting truly buzzed, those are both in the 10% ABV category.

3300 calories in a 30 pack of my high consumption budlight, on sale now at Fat Dogs liquor store. If you play disc golf fast enough you can burn the calories while you play, and I might add that budlight produces way more powerfull high octain burps then miller genuine draft light pee beer.

That is one of my favs as well. One that I miss is a Golden Ale that Full Sail used to make. They quit making it, but it was incredible.

Lol.

So last night I went into the beer store with list in hand to buy some new beers that had been posted here. I've had the Negra Modelo, and the other Modelo several times but I wanted something with more kick.

Sooooooooo, I ended up with 6, 22oz arogant bastards, a 30 pack of budlight, and a 1/2 gallon of Windsor Canadian.

3 shots, 2 arogant bastards, cooking dinner at 10 pm,..... my as* was out on the couch by 10:30 and I feel like that this morning, man that stout beer has one heck of a hangover effect

I just googled "Salvator Dapple Bock" and the very first listing for it was this very thread. LOL

Thanks for the tip. I am a very big fan of "Paulaner" beer so I will definitely look for this Dapple Bock.

I just bought a minikeg of Paulaner Oktoberfest which I've been saving for the right occasion.

It's the congeners in dark liquor and beer that will get you everytime.

Rogue Chocolate Stout:

9.2% ABV; strong stuff! 22oz bottles; hello, buzztime.

Gotta say I didn't care for this. I don't know what I was thinking even buying it. It's like putting a spoonful of chocolate syrup into a perfectly good beer. Whatever complexity the stout itself has is lost in the cocoa.

YMMV, as always. And I'm not completely against flavored beers; I just didn't think this was a good match.
