About 6 months ago I posted on here about moving to Northeast Florida from PA. Shortly after that post I found out my oldest daughter needed kidney surgery for a birth defect, which only started causing her problems, and we only found out she had it, after she turned 18.
We put off all plans until after her surgery and recovery. I'm happy to say all went well with her surgery and she is doing and feeling great and now we are ready to make our move to Florida.
I have been in the car business for 14 years, 11 of that as an F&I manager. I'm hoping that somebody has some contacts that could help get my foot in the door in a dealership in Florida. We have spent several months in the past in Northeast Florida and feel this is the area we would like to settle in. Somewhere in the Jacksonville or surrounding area.
If anybody has some contacts I could reach out to or knows of any opening I would really appreciate it. We would like to make the move before school starts as my youngest daughter will be entering high school.

Mike I am not in Florida so I am no help to you. I do want to say good-luck with your search and I am glad to hear about your daughter's recovery.

The Florida Dealer Association is very active. Contact them at http://www.flada.org and see how they can help. The JAX area is a nice area with plenty of dealers, hopefully you can find something. I wish I could provide more specific help in that area but that's all I got.
Oh, and like Randy said, seems that prayers were answered with your daughter and THAT'S A GREAT THING!

If you have facebook look up Ethical Finance managers and ask for an invite, that site has tons of contacts.
