Ahhhh... Def Leppard... my very first live concert at Joe Louis Arena in downtown Detroit (where the weak are killed and eaten) way back in 1983. Krokus opened up for them. I remember all too well the big black dude that sneaked up behind us offering to sell us some big fat joints all the while with a 10"-12" hunting knife hanging off his belt. Not to mention the girl behind us vomiting down the stairs next to me.

Ahhhh.. the good ole' days.

went to ZZ Top a couple months ago. OUTSTANDING show!!!!!!!!!! (There is only one real problem with a Z Top concert IMHO....all the gals my age [50], dressing like they are still 18. Upside? All the gals who ARE 18...dressing like they are 18. )

Nope, some girl tossed it to me. Sort of funny it It has ZZ tops logo on the front, and the back Say's "Beer drinkers and Hell raisers" fitting I would say. Kathy hit the nail on the head when she said they looked like dolls up there on stage all they need was strings hanging down from the ceiling

One of my girly friends is a bartender, most of this article is dead on, she comes over sometimes bragging about getting to some of her patrons, hell come to think of it, then she gets to me

The problem that I have created for my self now is that I talked the bartenders at Zimmys into serving my drinks in a 25oz beer mug..Seems like a great idea at the time, but the next day??Never knew that I could get so hammered on just 4 drinks.

Nope sorry, even I would be against this....could not imagine how absurd it would be hearing and or seeing 18 and 19 year old kids hanging out in the bars I frequent....arhhhggggg....the 21 year old girls are bad enough....... I couldn't fathom being taken advantage of by an 18 year old on top of the 21 year old girls..........

edit: 18 on top of 21........that typed out wrong.......

Being that the drinking age here in Canada is either 18 or 19 depending on where ou live I can say that I would full support a raise to 21. Not to stop the 18 year old college kid from drinking, but to stop the 14 & 15 year olds from getting it from the 18 year old high school senior. If the "kids" sneaking into the bar were 18 not 16 that would be a good thing. Of course when I was 18 I would have protested VERY loudly against this.

Didn't know where the hell to put this... OK...This am I got up around 5, worked out a little bit watched some CNN then went out on the front porch to smoke a cig, no smokes, my neighbor must have run out and grabbed mine, so I stroll down to my truck, no shirt or shoes just shorts, What happened next is a blurr..I was maybe 20 feet away from my truck and in the shadows about thirty feet to the right I saw my other neighbors two small mutts untied just sitting there staring.. one of them starts barking then comes running, next thing I know three other damn dogs are running at me.., I haul ass and jump in the back of my truck, by this time I count 5 dogs barking and there all jumping up and down trying to get to me...I carry a broom stick and a golf club in the back of my truck so I grab the broom stick and smack the largest dog hard as hell, his ass starts attacking the other dogs and they all took off, barking and biting each other. Talk about getting your heart pumping. I don't know the neighbor but I am getting sick of those dogs barking. Anyone know of a good fix. Usually I would do something myself about it, but with all the Vick crap going on I, well you know. How in the heck do you stop a dog from barking without hurting it is the question.......besides that, that was one heck of a wake up call, I want a beer.
