Manheim Interactive Inc., a business-to-business e-commerce company serving the wholesale automotive industry, has announced the appointment of Donald Foy to vice president of marketing and product planning.

Foy previously served as the company's director of product management and manager of online operations for the Manheim Online Web site (www.manheim.com).

"Donald has played a key role in helping build Manheim Interactive since our company launched, and even prior to that while he was with our parent, Manheim Auctions Inc.," said Hal Logan, president and CEO of Manheim Interactive. "We look forward to his continued success with the

company as he now leads our growing marketing and product planning department."

Foy began his career with Manheim Auctions in 1996 as manager of sales and marketing for the Manheim Market Report (MMR), an online pricing guide for wholesale and retail vehicle values. MMR was an original product developed by the Manheim Online team, and has continued to evolve as one of the most popular products offered now by Manheim Interactive.

"In the four years I have spent in the Manheim family, I've seen a tremendous amount of growth in online products and services in our industry," Foy said. "Our goal at Manheim Interactive will be to sustain its leadership

position in this area, and I am pleased to help in the effort."

Prior to joining Manheim, Foy worked in the direct marketing department of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a Cox Enterprises Inc. company. Cox also is the parent of Manheim Auctions, Manheim Interactive and their subsidiaries.

Foy earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from North Carolina State University.
