A management workshop panel composed of the automotive industry’s leading leasing consultant, lease residual forecast publisher, lease residual value insurance underwriter, and a major retail bank lessor will present an in-depth examination of the factors, market conditions, and industry practices that have contributed to the on-going losses-on-sale experienced by retail lessors in recent years at the annual Conference of Automotive Remarketing 2001 in Las Vegas on March 19th.

The assembled panel of industry experts on vehicle lease residual management will consist of Ron Loshin, Bank Lease Consultants; Raj Sundarim, Automotive Lease Guide (ALG); John Eckenrode, Lee & Mason; and William Jensen, Bank One Leasing.

The focus of the panel on the opening of day of CAR 2001 will be to explore, define, and identify the reasons why major banks and captives have been losing money on the resale of used vehicle coming off lease for the past seven years. The distinguished group will seek to structure solutions and strategies to one of the industry most critical problems.
