Banc One Credit Company, the automotive finance subsidiary of Bank One Corporation, has announced that Bob Rohrman of Lafayette, Ind., owner of Rohrman Auto Group, is headed to Brazil.

Rohrman won the company’s top prize awarded at the convention of the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA) in Las Vegas: a four-day, three-night all expense paid trip for two to Rio de Janeiro.

Rohrman won the trip at an exclusive Bank One reception for key commercial and retail dealers, where he and more than 450 other dealers played a round of “Bank One Blackjack.”

Three other Bank One customer-dealers won Sony DVD players with digital cinema sound. The DVD winners are Ed Babcock of Junction Auto in Chardon, Ohio; David Anding of the All Star Automotive Group in Baton Rouge, La.; and Adam Huff of Fred Martin Motors in Akron, Ohio.

Rohrman will stay on the Rio beach at a Sheraton Hotel. “This is really neat!” he said. “I have been to Europe, Asia, and parts of South America, but I have never been to Rio.”

“Seeing Bob Rohrman win this trip caps off a great NADA convention for Banc One Credit Company,” said Ed Tinsley, chairman and CEO.

“Bob owns 22 dealerships and he works hard to ensure that his customers receive the best financial service. Bank One is proud to partner with Bob in providing consumer financing to his customers.

“At BOCC this year our commercial and retail relationships are stronger than ever, and dealers like Bob Rohrman understand our commitment to meeting their financing needs," Tinsley said. “As a result of our efforts over the past year, we are looking forward to serving the entire Bank One family of automotive dealers.”
