Autodaq Corporation, an integrated automotive remarketing services company, announced on March 19 that its wholly-owned subsidiary, MarketWise, will assume the Autodaq Corporation name for business and marketing purposes.

The change reflects the high degree of integration the companies have achieved since their merger on Sept. 25, 2000, as well as the ongoing integration of the Internet-based and traditional automotive remarketing services the combined company offers, according to Adam Boyden, president and CEO of Autodaq.

"While largely a paperwork formality, the real significance of this decision is reflected in the direction Autodaq has taken to better serve the remarketing industry," Boyden said. "We now offer a full menu of integrated Internet-based and traditional remarketing services to clients in all segments of the industry, including physical auto auctions, financial institutions, auto manufacturers, and other fleet, lease and rental car operators, as well as to franchised, independent and Internet-based auto dealers and wholesalers."

Autodaq continues to maintain its headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif., and its Minneapolis area office (formerly doing business as MarketWise), which has expanded since the merger. Autodaq has also opened a Southeastern regional sales office in Coconut Creek, Fla., and provides dealer sales support in Los Angeles.
