Manheim Auctions’ Technical Center in Nashville, Tenn., on April 16 released its initial National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) Wholesale Certification class schedule for 2001.

This one-day class is fully endorsed by the NAAA, and will be a prerequisite for anyone in the auction industry who wants to provide authorized certification services. Each class has space for 12 people, and each will be filled on a first come, first served basis, according to Manheim.

The NAAA Wholesale Certification curriculum will cover the policies and procedures of the NAAA Wholesale Certification program. The basics of pre-qualifications, minimum standards, reconditioning and certification guidelines and tool usage with the latest industry technology and processes will be covered in the course.

“This class is a necessity to everyone in the auction business,” said Dan Dietsch, managing director of the technical center. “Manheim is happy to partner with the NAAA to provide this training resource.”
