Cowboy Corp Announces Modularization of Prospector CRM and Lead Management Solution

Cowboy Corp, developers of the Prospector CRM and lead management solution, has announced the modularization of Prospector.

Cowboy now allows dealerships to pick and choose the Prospector modules they need, whether it be Internet Lead Management, Showroom Control or Fixed Operations (service, parts, body shop).

The advantage of this new approach, according to Cowboy Corp, is that the modules are not one-off, dead-end tools. A dealership can add on modules or upgrade to the full Prospector CRM system. "As with all of Cowboy’s products, these modules are ASP based so there is no expensive hardware to install and maintain and all leads are securely stored on Cowboy’s servers," said Zaheer Molu, marketing manager at Cowboy Corp.

Stevinson Lexus of Golden, Colo., was the first dealership to take advantage of this new concept. “We loved the idea of slowly introducing a CRM tool to all our departments,” said Mandy Perez, business development supervisor for the dealership. “We decided to start off with the Showroom module to address issues of poor follow-up with leads by our sales staff. Using the daily agenda and notification functions enabled our sales managers to effectively monitor how leads were being distributed and followed up.

"The results were immediate," Perez said. "We used to have a dedicated person inputting information into our old system. We have been successful in eliminating that process thanks to the module’s easy-to-use features that lets the sales people enter in their own information. Our next step is to introduce the Fixed Operations module to our service department.”
