Two F&I providers and two dealership groups appear on Fortune Magazine's latest list of the 100 fastest-growing companies.

The F&I companies are AmeriCredit of Fort Worth, Texas, ranked 68th, and Union Acceptance of Indianapolis, Ind., ranked 83rd.

AmeriCredit, the largest independent financer of nonprime vehicles, showed earnings growth of 43 percent and revenue increase of 56 percent. Union Acceptance, which buys installment sales contracts from auto dealers then collects payments itself, had earnings growth of 144 percent and a revenue gain of 38 percent.

The dealer groups, both publicly owned, are Sonic Automotive of Charlotte, N.C., ranked 15th, and Group 1 Automotive of Houston, Texas, ranked 49th.

Sonic Automotive showed earnings-per-share over a three-year period of 79 percent and revenue growth of 115 percent, according to the survey. Group 1 reported earnings growth of 55 percent and revenue expansion of 85 percent.

The No. 1 U.S. company on the list, Pokemon licenser 4Kids Entertainment of New York City, scored an earnings growth per share of 242 percent while boosting earnings 128 percent.
