Louis Feagles, president of Financial Services, JM&A Group (JM&A) and World Omni Financial Corp. (World Omni) and executive vice president of parent company, JM Family Enterprises, Inc., has announced two executive level appointments.

Rosie P. Burkman has been promoted to vice president, marketing. She has responsibility for market research and competitive intelligence, national advertising, marketing production services, incentives and special events, and customer loyalty.

Burkman joined JM&A in 1996 from Citibank, with extensive marketing expertise specializing in banking and financial services. She graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Fla.

A Florida native, Burkman and her husband, Kent, have one son and expecting another child this spring. They reside in Boca Raton, Fla.

Maria K. Guttuso has been promoted to vice president and general counsel, JM&A Group. She oversees an array of legal services ranging from contract and insurance law, state-by-state sales practices and offers, regulatory compliance litigation and product coverage.

Guttuso previously joined JMFE in 1985 as an accountant and left in 1988 to attend law school. After working for two prominent local law firms she rejoined JMFE in 1993. Guttuso holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver and a law degree from Nova Southeastern University. Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Guttuso and her husband, Joe, have two children and reside in Boca Raton, Fla.
