Business consultant and author Thom Winninger is set to open the 2002 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo with a keynote presentation titled "Creating Customer Value That Demands Full Price" on Sept. 22. This year's Convention/Expo runs Sept. 22-25 at the Nashville Convention Center in downtown Nashville, Tenn.

According to the National RV Dealers Association, Winninger believes that "full-price" customers help dealerships reach their maximum potential. The RVDA also says that in his session, he will share concepts with dealers that communicate the tangible value of the dealerships' products and services and identify and anticipate the changing needs of their best customers.

"It's more important than ever for dealers to stand out from the competition and understand consumer perceptions that turn people into 'full-price' customers," said RVDA Convention/Expo Chairman Larry Troutt of Toppers' Camping Center in Houston, Tex. "Thom Winninger is one of the best at delivering this important message." Winninger is the author of four management books and the founder of the Winninger Institute for Market Strategy.

The RV Dealers International Convention/Expo claims to be the premier educational event of the year for RV retailers and includes workshops for dealers and their management, sales, F&I, AfterMarket, service, and rental employees.

Dealers interested in attending the convention can register online at www.rvda.org. The online registration form includes an electronic coupon good for discounts off the full registration fee, according to the RVDA.
