Cars.com and KLAS-TV, Las Vegas, a CBS affiliate station, announced that KLAS-TV has joined the cars.com online automotive network. KLAS-TV sais it will now provide local automotive dealerships online advertising opportunities with cars.com, a national third-party online automotive site committed to supporting dealers through local affiliate sales partners. Additionally, Nevada consumers will have access to car buying information and thousands of local new-and used-car listings.

"We are excited to be partnering with such a well-respected television station in the fastest growing market," said Mitch Golub, general manager of cars.com. "This partnership will help us expand our online advertising offering to dealers in the Las Vegas market and meet the needs of consumers who want to easily identify quality listings online and connect with local dealers."

Dick Fraim, president and general manager of KLAS-TV, said, "We are very glad to be participating in cars.com as an affiliate television station. The addition of proven automotive advertising products to KLAS-TV's local news and informational Web site is an important strategic objective for KLAS-TV. We expect great success from the launch of cars.com, and are especially pleased to bring a strong online automotive solution to our Web site, local automotive dealerships and Nevada car buyers and sellers."

KLAS-TV says it will join more than 170 metro newspapers and television stations across the nation in the cars.com network. Cars.com says it will help local automotive dealers promote their dealerships and connect with local consumers.
