Dealix Corporation, an automotive Internet marketing services company, announced that Dean L. Evans, formerly of Ford Motor Company's Premier Auto Group, has joined Dealix as vice president of marketing.

"Automotive manufacturers and dealers are realizing more and more the power of Internet sales leads on their closing ratios and their bottom line," said Evans. "Dealix is the most innovative, focused, and profitable player in the space. They have always had a very strong technology and services emphasis. Now it's my goal to provide a dynamic marketing element that does justice to those strengths. I am tremendously excited about the opportunity."

An automotive industry veteran, Evans most recently oversaw global CRM and e-business strategy for Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover of North America (AMJLR), part of Ford Motor Company's Premier Auto Group. Prior to AMJLR, Evans was executive director of product development at Autofusion Corporation, where he was responsible for site strategy, configuration and content, and managing dealer acquisition programs. Evans also worked for DaimlerChrysler from 1991 - 1998 as district manager and in various field and home office positions.

"Dean's experience supports Dealix's ambitious goals in the Internet marketing sector," explained Dealix chief executive Jon Christensen. "We intend to become the New York Yankees of our space: disciplined, respected, demanding of excellence, and perennially the winner. We need a top-league team to get there. Adding players of Dean's caliber is one of the highlights of our job. All of us at Dealix are thrilled at the new potential this brings."

The addition of Evans rounds out the senior level team at Dealix as he joins Mark Boyd, executive vice president of strategic development, Timothy Weaver, vice president of business development and marketing, and Patrick M.
