Corporation a marketer and
administrator of service contracts and extended warranties for
automobiles, recreational vehicles, home appliances, consumer
electronics, televisions, computers, home office equipment and other
consumer products, has announced that key executives have been hired
to manage operations in Warrantech's Consumer Products Division and in
Latin America.
Following a three-year period of restructuring, Warrantech says it is
staging a comeback. Now Warrantech has started to expand
operations in two key markets: Consumer Products and Latin America.
New staff is needed to manage the growth in both divisions.
James Burton (Burt) Shaw II has been appointed executive vice
president - Warrantech Consumer Product Services for the United States
and Canada. Mr. Shaw is a 21-year veteran of the extended warranty
industry. Well known within the industry, Shaw has served in various
capacities for leading retailers and third-party warranty providers
for a number of years.
As an international company, Warrantech has also been expanding in
strategic markets throughout South America. Marli Padovani, an
experienced manager with more than 15 years experience in the
electronics and warranty industries, has been appointed managing
director for Latin America. Residing in Brazil, Padovani will be
responsible for developing new business in the region.
