K40 Electronics has announced that it added four new employees to its sales staff. These new additions join other new sales personnel added since January and cumulatively double K40's sales force.

K40 says its growth comes at a time when the company has been lauded by several sources. In the 2003 Brand Preference Study conducted by Mobile Electronics magazine, K40 was listed as the number one preferred radar detector brand among mobile electronics retailers. In addition, K40's new RD850 portable radar detector and patented Undetectable Remote Radar system were both recently extensively tested by Speed Measurement Laboratories and awarded SML's Performance Certification. This designation verifies the RD850 and Undetectable detect all police radar bands and give drivers the time needed to react and safely reduce speed, according to the company.

"Innovative thinking at K40 applies to both the products we design and offer and to the way we conduct business," said Peggy Finley, K40's president. "While many businesses are currently paralyzed by fear and uncertainty, K40 has decided to grow and help its dealers prosper. These accolades reaffirm we have chosen the correct course of action."

Established in 1977 and headquartered in Elgin, Illinois, K40 Electronics is a manufacturer and distributor of mobile electronics products that include custom remote radar detector systems, portable radar detectors, the Laser DefuserPlus laser jammer, and various configurations of CB radio antennas.
