RouteOne LLC has announced its agreement with UCS to integrate its credit application management system with the UCS dealership management system. The integration of the UCS and RouteOne systems will make it possible for fields on the RouteOne credit application to be populated with information obtained directly from the UCS dealership management system and vice versa, reducing the need for duplicate key entry.

Additionally, according to the company, the integration will provide dealers enhanced reporting services on the RouteOne system as it relates to the review and analysis of its finance office(s) performance.

"RouteOne is focused on the needs of dealer's. They've been involved in the entire RouteOne design process," said Mike Jurecki, chief executive officer of RouteOne. "Dealers have told us that integration with the UCS dealer management system is important to them and we're acting on their request. This integration fits perfectly with the RouteOne mantra of 'speed, access and simplicity'."

"UCS is pleased to team with RouteOne to deliver an integrated credit application process that can benefit all our clients regardless of franchise affiliation," said Michael Creagh, UCS vice president of manufacturer integration. "While dealers representing the RouteOne principals, DaimlerChrysler, GM, Ford and Toyota will be the first to benefit, we expect portals to other captive and non-captive finance companies to offer improved efficiency for all of our clients."

The UCS dealership management system offers end to end solutions to automobile dealers, including accounting and payroll functions, finance and insurance department applications and systems for managing their parts and service departments.

The web-based system being developed by RouteOne will enable automobile dealers and finance sources to exchange credit application and decision information in real time. The RouteOne system will make it possible for dealers to have access to all their finance sources through a single integrated system. RouteOne will begin to roll out its system in the Southeastern U.S. in the fourth quarter.
