Shebesta, President of Automobile Consumer Services, to Speak at Automotive Lease Forum

November 12, 2003

Tarry Shebesta, president of Automobile Consumer Services, Inc. (ACS), will join a panel of industry experts that will explore how vehicle incentives and rebates will affect the future of leasing. The event will take place at the 9th Automotive Lease Management Forum in Miami on Nov. 19 at 1:00 p.m.

The featured session will discuss the scope of zero percent financing and rebates and how they impact the future of the leasing industry.

Specific topics include:

  • Assessing the gray areas of incentives and rebates and how they impact the core leasing groups.

  • Future stages of incentives. Are they better for the leasing industry?

  • Identifying components of incentives that would enhance residual value and sustain future growth for the leasing segment.

  • Can incentives and rebates lend visibility to used vehicle leasing and bolster residual values?

Shebesta was selected for the panel because of his numerous years of experience in vehicle remarketing and online auto leasing. He currently serves as director-at-large for the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA). He also oversees ACS's corporate expansion, business development and service offerings including the online leasing website www.LeaseCompare.com.

"This forum will offer industry practitioners proven methods of handling remarketing challenges and explore innovative solutions for sustaining leasing profitability," Shebesta said. "The leaders in the auto leasing industry are those companies who are constantly seeking new and creative ways to be competitive. Forum attendees will gain an edge as they discuss issues and share problem-solving ideas."
