Alonzo Oxford has been promoted to the position of

national sales manager, Inside Sales at Black Book/National Auto Research (NAR), effective Jan. 1. In addition, John Frank joined the field sales team in December as new business development manager, and will be based in the Los Angeles area.

Oxford joined Black Book in 2002 in the sales department, and since then has been in both Field Sales and Inside Sales. Before coming to NAR, he

was in retail automobile sales for 20 years, during which time he held positions as finance manager, lease manager, truck manager and new car

manager.

Oxford is an ex-Marine, having served in Vietnam, and holds a degree in criminology. He and wife Marsha have a son and a daughter, both of whom are in college.

Frank joins NAR from the Reynolds and Reynolds Co. where he had been a systems account manager in the Los Angeles Region. Prior to that, he was

with Nissan North America in sales and marketing and with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. (NMAC) as regional remarketing manager.

Frank, 38, is a native Californian, and he and his wife Rosie reside in Moorpark, Calif., along with their three sons. He is currently finishing his MBA, and when not working, enjoys family activities, softball and fly-fishing.

"Our commitment to provide the best value to our clients in vehicle specification and valuation

products and services requires a team of great people, and we are excited about these two enhancements to that team," said

Freddy Hall, director of sales at NAR. "Al's management experience and John's years of new business development, together with their drive to

provide superior customer service, will help us accelerate the improvements of our products, services and customer service."
