DAYTON, Ohio—The Reynolds and Reynolds Company was named one of Training magazine’s Top 100 Training Organizations for 2004, among the ranks of IBM, AT&T, Pfizer and others.

“Reynolds and Reynolds’ development programs demonstrate an incredibly tight connection to its business goals and performance,” said Tammy Galvin, Training’s editor-in-chief.

Reynolds University, the company’s program, offers targeted learning and developmental education that includes e-learning for both associates and customers. It offers courses in company culture, core skills, leadership development, marketing, sales, service and support, team behaviors and technology. A team of 54 professionals provides the training for the University, based in Dayton, Ohio. Nearly 3,000 employees enrolled in a University program in 2003.

To determine the Top 100, Training considers a program’s size, type and depth. Other measures include the company’s financial investment in training, the number of available training professionals, and the company’s ability to track, tie, and measure its program’s effectiveness.
