November 28, 2004

DETROIT -- Mitsubishi Motors Corp.´s marketing chief resigned on Nov. 24 after one year on the job. The company has faced declining sales and is only selling half as many cars in the United States as in 2002, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The drop in sales was triggered in 2002 by customer loan defaults through Mitsubishi´s captive finance arm.
