Carbiz Continues Florida Expansion

December 22, 2004

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Carbiz Inc.'s Florida expansion effort now includes a location in downtown St. Petersburg, named the Carbiz Auto Credit Center.

The company offers dealer software products focused on the finance, sub-prime finance and "buy here-pay here" markets.

"The success of our credit center business is based on a philosophy of treating customers with dignity and respect," said Carl Ritter, chief executive officer. "We combine this customer-friendly approach with interest rates below the industry average, which encourages customer loyalty."

In October, Ritter announced that Carbiz had closed financing to accelerate expansion in Florida. The company is seeking a listing on the U.S. Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board. Carbiz is currently publicly traded on the Canadian TSX Venture Exchange.
