SEOUL, Korea -- General Motors Acceptance Corp. announced plans to establish a South Korean unit to support the sales channels of GM Daewoo Auto & Technology and Daewoo Motor Sales.
The unit, which will open in early April, will provide auto financing to the South Korean market, reported MarketWatch.
GM Daewoo began in 2002 and sold more than 900,000 vehicles around the world in 2004. It is a South Korean auto manufacturing unit of General Motors.
